*Writers note! Reading the Character Bios Will help with most confusion with my story And MY Characters! So do so! If not just leave a message ^_^*
On another note I DO NOT OWN FELARYA. This is a fan fic, based on the world created by Karbo.

It would look normal if the fifth member was not a damaged mech. Gemini felt very out of place even with his human passenger, he could only imagin what Gyru was thinking as he slept.. He had thought several times about taking off and bringing him back to base but then Gyru would probably not prefer that, he liked to see things though, and now it was up to him to keep Gyru safe till he was awake, but we was not sure how much he could possibly do at this point, he still had plenty of few for a while, rations were plentiful, they had gone through most of the antidote, and he damage was just about Fifty-two percent plate durability, a few areas on his left arm was now very vulnerable now and it would not take many more strikes like he had gotten back there till he would need to worry about it being completely useless…  at least his legs had not been struck a lot, that would be the worst one less arm is fine to him otherwise… “So I guess we are heading to Terra’s then, or do you have other ideas?” Gemini questioned

“We do have a temporary home that is quiet close to terra’s I don’t even thing she knows that the cave even exists. It’s not much but at least it’s something.” Phira looked down at the little machine wondering if the person in it was even listening to her. It looked like it had took quiet a beating cracked places in the armor proved that its blue coloring was tarnished with the blood of the Spider minions that it had slain, the human had also had been struck against the tree fairly hard. She wanted to see if he was even conscious. He had put on a good show after the fight but after healing their major injuries it seemed like he got very quiet…”How are you fairing Lin? She looked down at her, she had been between

“Good now… wherever they did it worked well…” Lin looked a bit concerned. “I really thought that was it back there. So close…” She looked up a bit at the mech Gemini. “Not to sound ungrateful but… what brought you both out here anyway? I mean its not just coincidence that you would venture here, and even odder a human would have a thing like you… and a mech with an entity that has a will of its own; he’s ether foolish or very talented.

Gemini was silent for a moment, it was having a deep thought before answering…”As his Ai I have access to all of his personal data. I know all there is to know about him, and he knows all there is to know about me, he is my creator, if I were to make a decision to your question… I’d have to say both… and more.

Lin was not that satisfied with the answer. She had a feeling that most questions would probably be answered the same way. She listened to the machine as it continued.

“He came out here to ask a question about an amulet he had received from a couple of Drake friends of his..”

“He has…drakes for friends?!?”

“That’s a longer story, I compute this is not a time to discuss it, his missions in memory are for him to tell only, Gyru will tell you himself when he is awake, allow me to finish please… After his return from the mission he was approached by the commander and several other men of a different squad, one of which was injured, the amulet reacted to the sense of a friendly wounded being and it Glistened brightly, in short he held it in the wounded mans direction and it healed him on the spot, it was really quiet a sight. After the event a Naga named Rin approached him and request to see the amulet, after examining the said she would need another opinion, having sparked his interest  Gyru ask to be permitted to go with her, dangerous as it was, he was instructed to no part with the amulet for any length of time… the next morning they were both gone…And now I’m not even sure if he has the amulet now, I don’t detect it on him, but he used the healing ability like he still held it close… I wonder if there’s more to it.”
“So why did he come after us if he had found out what he needed to know.” Phira pressed on.
“Boredom mostly… From what I could gather of this reaction to being in such peace for a length of time he gets very edgy, if he’s not fighting, he train, if he is not training he’s fighting, if he does nether he plays, if not any of those… he finds something else to do. You four were what that something was. So far he does not seem to care much for the Dridder population, nor the Bloodfeather harpies. He currently is only server the Miratan Military Core due to his Fathers involvement within, he has not strict beliefs in what they stand for that and the current code of conduct as far as nagas go is to eliminate any we encounter, due to circumstances that we came with a naga to see a naga… it kind of does not justify the means to what the code of conduct implies. That and the general outlook of the Core is that they are better then all over speices, Gyru however, like I’ve been saying, does not a lot of support this kind of outlook, espcally here on Felarya. He had had more fun and been happier with other races other here then human then all the time spent training.”
Zela poke her Green topped head up from the side of her mothers hair with a bit of a grin the looked more quizzical. “So wait, he doesn’t like other humans? That’s kind of odd…”
“Oh, no. it’s not that simple. He still has some human friends in the core back on Prime that he rarely talks about; alas I didn’t pry that far into this memory. here only has a handful here, some of those were killed very recently, in an attack by the Bloodfeather Harpies, he made it out barely… now he only has the Commander, the Captain, and his squad, and he’s only known the Captain for a short while, most don’t thing much of Gyru being just a sergeant due to they have no knowledge of whom he actually is, but those who do acknowledge me as well as him due to me being a prototype of a new armored class. Most of the humans just see me as custom job mech, and that I’m just a normal artificial being.” Gemini sighed. “Some humans are just plain stupid…”
Pheria laughed. “Well you are defiantly more lively then most humans I’ve run across and… er… well… eaten. Most just scream a lot, make death threats, or they make me laugh with pitiful attempts at convincing me to let them go, it is really quite amusing. I’d say that you and little Gyru are defiantly the first ones I would count as…” She gave an odd look “Friends among humans… I mean Gyru just has that look and feel about him, that once he speaks you seem to want to know more about him, and the power I only felt for the moments he was healing me and Lin, was indeed impressive. He is… I feel… gifted to be something… more.”
“What do you mean by that mother?” Lin asked.
“Hard to say… it’s a thing that comes with time…”
“He’s seems to be awakening now.” Gemini reported. “I’ll see if he wants the overhead open.”
“Open the overhead?” A little tuff of violet hair poked out, Maris also had now also poked her head out as well with interest.
….
“Such and amusing little human he has become, and his Machine is not half bad eather, they fight together very well. Certainly has quelled my boredom of being here for the moment…” he nodded at his daughter Xenostaza. “I’m happy you gave him at least something for his trouble, he has employed the power you unlocked in him quite well… however he eather has trouble using Nazroth’s power that I blessed him with as your guardian… or he does not yet remember how… yes… he must remember how… it will happen when the time is right.”
“As you say father, “Xeno replied then gave a bit of a laugh, “ But we cant very well have him dying before you meet him… he is even more interesting in person. I know you have some questions you would rather ask him yourself... humans like him… seem naturally attracted to magic. Some humans are so mysterious, while others are so dull and plain. Gyru is indeed special.”
He nodded again. “It seems you judged his character well. He puts on a good show even without using magic, I can hardly wait to see what happens next.” He made a toothy grin as he pulled up another orb with an adult Dridder that was following them. She had and angered look to her. Clearly was not to keen on having the rest of her hunting party killed in her absence. Thou it was not completely anger…fear…despair. Clearly she was intent of finding what had killed them
“It seems he might have his hands full on this one,” she gleamed through the luminous sphere, “I wonder if he will remember how to unlock his new power. I personally hope so…the machine looks damaged I do not think it would take much more abuse after that last fight.” She remembered the time she spent caged… that thing had just kind of been there… motionless, like it had been there for ages, yet when approached by that human…Gyru…it moved like it was just made. Such odd couples that human and machine are, both seem to bring very interesting Strengths to the table. Their fight with the Younger Dridders had been something she had yet to see from any human of Miratan’s Military Core so Gyru had called it. The Seal that she and Nazroth had forged are only instruments of unlocking and nudging power to their affinities of the Subjects inner power...”  She was of nature, Nazroth of fire, so in simple concept he would now naturally be attuned to both types of elemental magic. More interesting was how well he had tapped into the power to heal the larger naga. It… should not of been possible for him… yet he done it, just being a little tired should have been an understatement… There was something at work that could not be seen with just magic sensing…
“Little Xenostaza … if he does make it out of this… he will need to return to his human establishment… I think you should leave soon. Take Nazroth with you…” he gave her another toothy grin, “But don’t to take many with you, and keep a low profile… other humans scare easily. I would recommend going right to him rather then stopping anywhere near the human settlement. If he needs rest he may do so on the way back to me...i look forward to meeting him, and it won’t be delayed any longer. The power is beginning to come forth from him. I do not believe humans to be mentally prepared for a more lengthy transformation.”
“Right away…Aspect” she nodded to him. I will get Nazroth and head out soon a possible.”
“It had better be real soon. The event is about to start. Now we will see what kinds of mental stress this human can bear.” He looked on into the shimmering globes…
….
Gyru felt himself floating in what seemed like deep sleep, but his imagination would paint no pictures, his mind would mimic no sound, or guess at feels, it was nothingness, a shroud that covered and consumed. He called out but only so hear no sound escape him. He attempt so look around in the nothingness and saw nothing until a faint light was seen, it pulsed lightly in the what seemed very distance, and he floated there in wonder how to reach out to it, but the answer found him first, it began to pull him to it. The light grew in size and brightness until he saw nothing but light, it lost sight again? No his eyes were just closed… but now could…hear? People were talking… very familiar sounding voices

“What have you done! Do you have any clue what kind of damaged bringing him into his own soul can do!?” The fires around him flared, and his long hair mimic the flames as he raised his Talon like hand to her. I did not live 300 years, and spend 24 more watching this little one just to see you toss him around!  Had you lost him in ther-“ The ridged voice was interrupted by a much more soothing voice.
“Yes… I know what could be, but it was not to be nor had it come to pass. I would not allow a being of myself to come to harm, besides I have more then 400 years of practice in the arts of nature while alive. Drawing him here in his sleeping state is a simple task that just requires the being to have recent mental connections with the caster.” She grinned at him, and then looked back to the little human. “Hmm seems he is mentally awakened.” She made her way over the floating human her insect like legs making echoing ticking noises like pins falling to the ground and nudged him with the blunt side of her scythe like appendages that were quite longer then her hands softly as it would be possible “Come now, open your eyes, you are safe here…” his mental appearance begain to fade, it seemed his body requested him to awaken… ”Oh well, it seems he is returning to his physical body… Maybe we will meet next time. For now we will watch once more.”

He awoke from what was to him a long deep sleep, he felt refreshed…yet who where they, and what was the female voice talking about…”Is it safe to open the overhead Gemini?”
“Yes sir, all is well as can be… damage has brought down my combat efficiency by 40% we had better play it safe from here on in. They have been asking about you by the way, they seem to think your more like me then any human,” A little Smiley appeared on the Monitor, “The little ones I think would like to meet you too. Aside from the battle and the basics, you haven’t made much of an introduction for yourself

Zela and Maris looked on the machine’s damaged frontal panels slid up then to the side, They have been arguing weather the thing in the mech was even human, or if it was another robot recharging. They were interrupted when the machine spoke then what they would consider its head also shifted, spilt then retracted into the back just over the strange looking things on its back, now leaving nothing to protect the passenger. They heard him make a long yawn before anything was spoken. He wore a dark gray suit that was quite tacky by her taste of color. He matched the machine as far as looking damaged went. Cracked plates on his chest, whatever he was wearing on his arm seemed to be completely intacted from the rest of him…
“So you think there’s actually a human in that suit Zela?” Maris asked her sister.
“I would hope so Maris, it would be even weirder to be rescued by a couple robot things like that thing he’s sitting.”
Phira interrupted and pick them both out of her hair. “It would be easy enough just to introduce you to him, Gyru!”
“Gemini has already informed me.” With that he stood, stepped up on the front panel the proceeding mech and let himself fall forward.
The two little nagas looked on with a bit of concern as he fell a short distance and suddenly whatever the thing was on his back came to life and he hovered in motion then made his way over to them landing softly on Phira’s outstretched hand. Right then there was no face to this person, only creepy glowing eyes that glowed amber, he bowed to them and his posture returned the glowing eyes were replace by a rougher, but friendlier looking face smiling back at them.
”So you wanted to meet me face to face eh? What you see is what you get, the name is Gyru, of the Miratan Armed Forces, Mech operator and specialist of more… exotic weapons…” he patted the small blade on his wrist. “And might I have the pleasure of you names?”
They looked at each other and back to him and blurted both their named at once.
He looked a bit confused at the jumble of the two names but then pointed at Maris and said her name then at Zela and repeated it to her. They clapped in unison. “That’s right!” they chirped. “And this is our mother Phira!” they present the large naga to him as he gazed up to her; they simply nodded at each other.
“What else can you do? Flying looked really cool, and you made it look so easy for not having wings like a fairy!” Maris inquired. No sooner had she finished the human disappeared. “WOAH! You can do magic too?”
“This is not actually magical in nature, it is technology.”
“takalogy?” Zela attempted to pronounce to the now invisible human. “what kinda silly word is that?”
“It’s a general term for advancements in branches of invention to make life easier, or in my case and in military applications, to kill the target without being killed myself.”
“So its just to keep you safe while you kill others?” Zela continued putting pieces together.
“Pretty much,” Gyru reappeared before them. “Take Gemini” A loud growl stopped him dead in his explanation and man turned his skin to a nice pale color. He had completely forgotten just where he stood currently, and began to ponder that it may be a bit folly to hang around much longer.
Phira noted his now tense stance and giggled. “In all the excitement I forgot why we were out here, why don’t you show our new friend back to the cave Lin?” she looked down at her older daughter.
“What now I have to baby sit a human and his mechanical killing machine?” Lin grumbled in protest.
“Well if helps you can think of him like a brother…” Phira Grinned
“Brother Gyru, Brother Gyru!” the twins chanted.
“NOW HOL-“ both Lin and Gyru started in disbeilife, then looked at each other. Then he continued.
“Look I probably got a few friends looking for me by now, maybe not, but I should still get back to them as soon as possible.” Gyru stated.
“Would you just wait till I return from the hunt then, it’s a good time of day, I should not be long.” She nudged him with her thumb.
“Well…” he gave up, “I suppose… my situation could be worse I guess…” Gyru’s thoughts returned to Phira’s growling belly.
“Glad you reconsidered, I promise I wont be long,” She put him down next to Lin, then turned to Gemini, “and for you my mechanical aquantiance,” he watched gemini bring both his hands together to receive. She placed Zela and Maris down in his metal hands and she turned and made her way off into the forest once more to hunt.

Zela’s tail quivered. “Gah! This thing’s skin is freezing cold!”
Maris gave her an odd look. “Don’t be a baby! Its perfectly fine.”
Gemini’s hatch folded, split and opened up, the twin just gawked. “Wow! That is even cooler to watch up close, that’s so neat!”
“Well? If I’m to cold hop in! Only room for one thou…” Gemini offered. “ Gyru said it was ok…”
Zela’s eyes widened. “ Really? I mean I’ve never…” She poked her head inside… What looked like thousands of tiny lights and strange noises came from within, she curiously moved into Gemini’s hull turned and sat in what looked like the only reasonable place to be seated in, if it had not been as confortable it would very difficult to remain there, something clicked on the floor and held up the midsection of her tail. “Ahh! Much better” she grinned.
“Comfy enough?” Gemini asked
“Very, thanks so much… I hope its not a problem” Zela said a little concerned.
“YOU OK IN THERE KID?” A Square thing in front of her flickered on and Gyru’s face appeared nearly scaring her out of her mind. His seemed to have seen her distress and replied “er o sorry about that, never did get the volume adjusted right… anyway… Gemini! Keep her amused till we get there ok? Disable the UI so she don’t get herself into to much trouble.” His face grinned, and disappeared. Instead of going back to the blank screen it switch to what she guessed what his eyes and now she could see the forest, his hands, even Maris. They were moving again back to their home. It was not far from here, but Gyru didn’t know that.
“Can we talk with my sis like we did with Gyru?” She asked.
“Easily one moment, I’ll deploy a scouter to open a communication link.” Gemini responded.
The view in the monitor changed… it went up slightly then drifted down closer to her sister who looked at whatever she was seeing her through with awe. Maris’s face soon changed to a smile. “So can I talk to her? I mean through this?”
Zela clapped her hand. “Yes, I can hear you in here, as well as see you, theres a lot of bright lights and weird sounds, there’s lots of things on the square that I’m seeing you through but I can’t read any of it!” She hung her head.
“Allow me to simplfy then…” Gemini gave a static chuckle.
She looked on as much of the text then faded away and left her with just a single line of symbols. “What do those mean?”
“Well,” he began, “ I overheard your names being used, so I entered them into my database… that is her name in common.”
“really? It Looks goofy” she giggled.
“HEY! Yours looks goofy too!” Maris retorted. “show her Gemini!”
Another line of symbols appeared under “Maris”. She assumed that the short line was hers. “No way, I Think mine looks way better. Don’t you agree Gemini?”
“… errm…. Mine looks the best?” Gemini was now franticly calculating his best odds of a sentence that might get him out of the spotlight Adding his own to the two existing entries… He noted a puzzling look come to the young Nagas.
“I think he has us beat…” Zela sighed.
“Rather then take either of our sides he made his own… interesting.” Maris agreed.
…meanwhile…

Gyru: (did you deploy the Scout to follow Phira?)
Gemini: (Yes sir, its cloaked and keeping tabs on her… you’re sure something will be after us?)
Gyru: (bah, So far the Dridder show a similar hunting pack technique… there has to be more of them, I’m just playing safe...)
Gemini: (hmph, if you really think so…)
Gyru: (look on the bright side Gemini… we can also use the scount to see the naga hunter styles as well… then at least the commander wont think we were just out here Goofing off…with very expensive equipment. The Data we have collected so far is plenty anyway but that would make a good Trump card if we needed one to play later to save us from a reaming /smily)
///Closing messenger///
“Hey! What’s with the cold shoulder treatment? I just wanted to know what your actually doing out here..” Lin disappointedly gazed off of him.
“Aw hell… Sorry I got a bit distracted,” he rubbed the back of his helmet. “ im just making sure we don’t get jumped.” Gyru said a bit fidgety.
“Jumped?” she aked raising an eyebrow her focus back on him.
“uhh, ambushed or taken by surprise… normally I don’t go to such lengths when im alone but in a group I like to keep think somewhat secure.” He managed it a bit less gracefully then he would have liked…
“So you think something will follow us?” She responded.
“If they are hunting in packs like that… and have the same number of offspring normal spiders have… then most likely.” Gyru Grimly stated
“Never hurts to be safe I guess.” She shrugged.
“So how far from your home are we? Moments, hours, sunrises...” He asked
“Well id say the first one… we don’t live far from Terra, and it’s almost as well hidden as she said her place is.”
“So how long have you guys known Terra?”
“Not very long at all really, we know some others as well…”
*Others?* he thought to himself *like Kiki or like Terra?* then shuddered a little. This thought was interrupted by his HUD flashing.
“I think we have company…” Gemini confirmed
***Airborne Entity detected… inbound on current location.***
“Who… O hell… Gemini you may become a free mech… for when she gets here, Kiki may very well kill me…”
“Who is Kiki? And why would she kill you?” Lin asked.
“A Fairy that lives with Terra and a good friend of a certain naga I know… and I might have at one point done something that might have to some degree possibly injured her pride as a warrior…fairy I guess. I could somewhat see a vibrant look in her eye as I did that… it kind of looked like “If Rin was not here I would tear you in to little bloody shreds. Don’t allow that alone form your judgment of her… She was actually quiet nice when I wasn’t unconscious or practicing combat exercises… I could just be overreacting due to the fact I’m in a hostile environment filled with huge and tiny creatures that could be my end if I make a few bad moves.
Lin seemed to have lost interest in most of what he had said. “So she’s a fairy, and she might be a bit angry at you?”
“Exactly…” he gave up.
“You could have just kept it that simple you know.”
“Most of my reports have to be pretty lengthy to keep my superiors happy, so it’s a force of habit.”
“Then leave that habit at home.” She said with a smile then chuckled, “I don’t think many of things out here need a  Lengthy report… even if we are your superiors.”
“That’s not what I men-“he started
”GYRU! Finally!” A very familiar and simi-annoyed tone came from above.
